Function Details:

  • Live 5 piece band
  • 2 hour set (usually split into 2 x 1 hour sets with a short break in between)
  • Disco music provided (see below for details)
  • Stage lighting (this will be turned to light the dance floor during the disco)

Disco music:

We supply the music before the 1st set, during the interval and after the 2nd set up to midnight. However, we do not provide a DJ. The music is from a playlist that runs automatically, with songs fading together, but without anyone standing over the iPod. Please feel free to send one or two mp3’s of your favourite songs beforehand and we will include them in our disco music playlist.

Our playlist is tried and tested and at all of the functions we have played to date, people have kept dancing and partying until midnight to the carefully selected party tunes we provide.

PLEASE NOTE: If you intend to hire a DJ or another group of musicians they will need to bring all of their own PA, instruments, lighting etc.

Travelling expenses:

We are based in Wantage/Abingdon (Oxfordshire), however we do cover the whole of Oxfordshire, as well as Reading, Swindon, Newbury and surrounding villages (click here to view a map).

For venues within 15 miles of Wantage (Oxfordshire) there are no travel expenses incurred. For venues outside of this area we will add 45p per mile for each of our two vehicles (based on Tax Office recommendations) i.e. 90p per mile to and from the venue.


We require a non-refundable deposit of £50 at the point of booking. Please call Simon Hicks on 07798 796608 or email for our bank details to arrange a transfer.


The remaining balance is due on the day/evening of your function. We accept cash or bank transfer. We will provide an invoice upon request.


Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance of the function date will simply result in the loss of your non-refundable deposit. However, for cancellations less than 30 days in advance of your function, we will require full payment.

In the case of any illness or injury arising on or before the event date which renders the agreement impossible to fulfil, which is not attributable to any act or failure to take preventive action by the ‘band’ or ‘booker’, then the ‘band’ or ‘booker’ may cancel the performance without penalty other than loss of any deposit already paid.


For evening functions, the band will arrive at the venue at 7.00pm. If you require us to arrive prior to 7.00pm then please let us know at the point of enquiry as this will incurr an additional charge.

As with most venues, our latest finish time for live music (and disco) is midnight. We provide disco music before the first set, during the interval and after the band have finished up to midnight. If you require a later finish time we are happy to discuss this with you, however this will incur an additional charge.

Set Up / Break Down Time:

To get everything in, set up, and sound checked typically takes 1.5 hours. Break down at the end of the night typically takes around 45 minutes. Please factor this in to your schedule and talk to us if this gives you problems.

Wedding 1st dance:

If you supply us with an mp3 file of your chosen first dance we are happy to play this for you through the PA system prior to the first live set (or whenever you want it).

Set lists:

It will not be possible to play every song in our repertoire at your function (there are too many and we are constantly adding new songs). Therefore, if there are one or two particular songs on our list that you really want to make sure that we play, then please let us know as soon as possible and we will make sure we include them.

Noise Restrictions/Sound Limiters:

Please be aware that if the venue you have booked has sound restriction, or sound limiting systems in place then we will need to be notified in advance, so that we can make appropriate arrangements. Please ask the question of any venue you book "do you have any sound level restrictions for live music?".

Stage lighting:

Our stage lighting includes flashing lights. If you ask us to, we will also warn the audience of our intended use of flash at the start of the performance.  If you have any concerns, please let us know. We are afraid that we cannot be held responsible for any adverse reaction amongst your guests.

Venue PA/AV Equipment:

We do not require the use of any of the venue’s PA or AV equipment.

PAT Testing & Public Liability insurance:

All of our electrical equipment is PAT tested, and each band member has full public liability insurance (Certificates available on request).


For your safety and the safety of your function please ensure that your guests do not touch any instruments or equipment belonging to the band. The booker will be held liable for any damage to equipment caused by members of the function party.
